At BoksheideBuiten we have a round pen and an outdoor arena available to take you and your horse to a higher level. In a relaxed atmosphere you give guidance to the horse and learn how to ride effectively.

Lessons with your own horse can take place at our location BoksheideBuiten or at your place.

In order to be able to teach well, I have invested in special communication equipment. Thanks to a comfortable microphone connection, namely the hands free Senrun equestrian instruction set, you have an individual and clearly understandable connection with me. Moreover, it improves concentration because you are not bothered by ambient noise, this way the horse is not distracted while performing the exercises and learns better.

Horses make my heart gallop and I would like to take you on a journey through the world of equestrian sports. What started recreationally, developed via dressage in to Western riding, and has in the meantime led to a rich experience, including the realisation of the dream of every competition rider: Futurity! In the show arena I have more than earned my spurs.

I am proud of that and would like to coach you to achieve this and more.
Thanks to the fact that I have obtained various certificates, successfully completing intensive training courses (including NRHA Judge School and Instructor Course) and having been coached by big names in this sport, I can share my passion for Western sports professionally with other horse lovers.

By combining pleasure with professionalism, I can lift you and your horse to a higher level.

Western riding is a sport that brings man and horse in balance. Being strong together is the goal, just like in a beautiful film. The love for horses and Western sport stimulate me to continuous development and further professionalism. The importance of a well-trained horse comes first.

As a coach I am trained at international level myself and would like to offer others the depth of the many Western disciplines that this sport is rich in.

Children from the age of 4 years and older can take lessons with Alexandra on Floris & Navida. In these lessons the child learns, under supervision of Alexandra, self-confidence, feeling and balance.

At BoksheideBuiten you can experience a unique pony riding lesson, you start by leading Navida or Floris by the hand to the grooming area, there you can give one of them a nice brushing to build a nice bond.

After that you go to work with the pony that suits you in the round pen or outside arena, to get to know each other you can first play with the pony, then you go on top of the pony on the lunge line, if it goes well you can take off the lunge line.

You ride Navida or Floris on a bareback pad and they have a western bridle without a bit, just like in a real cowboy movie.
There is a CE approved cap and a CE approved bodyprotector ready for you, which you are obliged to wear for your own safety.
You have to wear your own closed shoes or boots, bring them with you!

After the lesson you take care of your pony and you can give some kibble as a reward.
