Is BoksheideBuiten open all year round?

Our nature cottages are all year open!

Can I recieve a booking proposal?

You can request request a booking proposal with no obligation. the non-refundable rate applies, and our offer is valid for one week from the date of the proposal.

How do I get to BoksheideBuiten?

This route is the most horse-trailer-fiendly way and doesn’t take you past the tractor gate!

On the motorway, take exit 30 Eersel, follow the signs for Eersel, turn right at the roundabout, and follow the brown directional signs for BoksheideBuiten. Go straight at the Ei van Eersel (oval roundabout)!

Where can I park?

⭐️ Cars, trailers and horse lorries can be parked on the premises.

⭐️ There is a wide pedestrian gate on the left-hand of the main gate.

⭐️ Our premises are accessed via an automatic gate, You will be given the remote control and mobile phone number when you check in to your holiday cottage.

What time is check-in?

I can be reached by phone from 3.45 pm on mobile number +316 22 91 37 27. Please call me 15 minutes before you arrive so that I can be there to meet you, and I’ll be ready to hand over the key and remote control for the automatic gate.

Can I check-in early in the cottage?

It may be possible to check-in starting at 1.00 pm for a fee of € 15 per adult. €1 12,50 per child aged 4 to 11, children aged 0 – 3 are free. For horse € 10. Dogs are free.

What is the check-out time?

Check-out is at 10.00 am.

Please call me 15 minutes before check-out on mobile number +316 22 91 37 27 then I will be on the spot to give you the key and the remote control of the gate. Together with the main booker I make a check round through the Cottage.

Although we make sure that every guest arrives in a clean cottage, we still want to ask you to leave your cottage clean and to check for forgotten items.return if everything is in order.

Can I check-out late the cottage?

It may be possible to check-out by 3 pm for a fee of € 35 per adult. Per child aged 4 – 11 € 25. Free for children aged 0 – 3. Per horse € 17,50. Dogs are free.

Are fireworks allowed?

The lighting of firework/carbide is not permitted on our property.

Is there a charging station for my electric car?

BoksheideBuiten does not have a charting point. The nearest charting points are:

Are day/evening guests welcome?

A day/evening guest can visit you for a fee of € 30 per guest arrival day from 10.00 o’clock and departure on arrival day at the latest at 22.00 o’clock.

If the day/night guest stays overnight in our accommodations, this must be reported to the hostess before 5.30 p.m. so that bed linen and towels (mandatory) can be provided, for which there is a surcharge of € 50 per guest. The overnight guest must check out no later than 10.00 a.m. the following day.

If the overnight guest wishes to stay longer, the charge of € 30 per guest etc. applies again..

The main booker is obliged to inform the hostess of this in advance.

Is it allowed to change guests?

If there is a change of guest, the departing guest must have left the accommodation within 1 hour after the arrival of the changing guest. If both the departing and the arriving guest remain in the accommodation during the day, the daily rate of € 30 per guest will be charged for both.

We must also be given the opportunity to change bed linen and towels before 17:30. This is obligatory in order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding hygiene. For a change of bed linen and towels € 35 per guest will be charged.

The main booker is obliged to inform the hostess of this in advance.

What are the cancellation terms?

We advise you to take out a good cancellation insurance.

In case of cancellation of a non-refundable booking, the full amount is refundable if the cancellation is made within 48 hours of booking. The written cancellation is leading. In all other cases, a refund is not possible, you will have to pay the full amount immediately.

In case of a standard rate reservation, the full amount is refundable if the cancellation is made within 48 hours of booking. The written cancellation is leading. If the cancellation takes place after 48 hours up to 21 days before the reservation date, 80% of the total rent is refundable. If cancelled within 21 days before the reservation date, the full amount of the reservation is due. When cancelling this reservation 20% of the total amount is due immediately. The remaining amount must be paid into our bank account no later than 21 days before your arrival.

Is there deposit requested?

After a check-in, you can pay the € 150 deposit via the Great Stay App. You will receive a confirmation in the app and another in your inbox. Alexandra will automatically receive an email confirming that the deposit has been paid.

You are responsible for any damage or missing items in the cottage caused by you or your fellow travellers during your stay.

Minor damages or missing items will be deducted from the deposit. It is nice if you report damages or missing items to the hostess.

In the unlikely event of damage caused by one of our guests exceeding € 150, the main booker will be held liable.

The deposit will be refunded to you on the next working day after the final cleaning and verification of your stay. In case of damage or loss greater than € 150 the hostess will contact you.

How can I order a Genieten Mandje?

Treat yourself with a basket full of delicious treats from De Brabantse Kempen. Freshly roasted granola, delicious thick yoghurt, organic jam & fruit from the vegeble garden, honey from the beekeeper, Brabantse bloemenweide- & smaak van de Kempen tea and tea bags.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Every holiday cottage has Wi-Fi (WLAN) with a internet speed of 200 Mbit/s. You can also use the fixed LAN ports (not the TV).

Is bed linen included?

Yes, indeed, bed linen is provided for a stay of 7 nights, after that, it will be changed free of charge.

Are bath linen included?

Yes, indeed, bath towels are included in the price as standard and are provided for a stay of 4 nights, after this, they will be changed free of charge.

The use of our towels is not permitted outside the guest accommodation, please bring your own towels for this purpose (including for dyeing your hair!).

Is a cot and a high chair available?

Each holiday cottage has one cot, one high chair and above a stair gate, CE-approved. Brand: Safety First.

Is there coffee available?

Your first cup of coffee is on the house, after that you can provide yourself with Nespresso coffee cups.

These original Nespresso cups are available at the Plus in Eersel (Nespresso Original).

The use of wrong cups or imitation cups can block or damage the machine, we request you to use only original Nespresso cups.

Is there any tea available?

Each holiday cottage has a tea box filled with Douwe Egeberts English Breakfast, Earl Grey, forest fruits and lemon green tea.

Is there airconditioning?

Each holiday cottage has air conditioning on the ground- and first floor.

Does your fridge hae a freezer compartment?

Do you have any frozen items, dog meat or other products that need to be kept in a Freezer compartment? Alexandra will be happy to take the products with her and bring them to you when you need them.

Is there an oven or microwave?

Every holiday cottage has a combination oven and microwave. You’ll have both an oven and a microwave at your disposal.

Is there a BBQ available?

Each Cottage has a Barbecook charcoal BBQ, model Loewy.

Barn Cottage has a cooking surface of 49 cm. Poppy- and Cornflower Cottages have a cooking surface of 43 cm.

BBQ tongs and extendable marshmallow skewers are in the bottom drawer of the kitchen. The BBQ cleaning brush is located in Barn Cottage under the microwave oven and Poppy- and Cornflower Cottage in the utility cupboard.

New in 2026: the green bin contains charcoal, briquettes and newspapers. Firelighters are in the bottom drawer of the kitchen.

Is there a Fire pit?

Each cottage has ots own fire pit where you are welcome to light a fire.

Would you like a basket of wood incl. firelighters/cubes for a cosy evening?

Please order before 5.30 pm.

A basket of wood costs € 12.50 and will be delivered to your Cottage.

Is smoking allowed?

Our cottages are non-smoking, there is a smoke and CO2 detector in every room.

On the terrace is an ashtray tile.

How does the key safe work?

Every holiday cottage has a key safe with a unique code. When you check in, Alexandra can app you the code.

Horses & Pets

How does check-in with your horse work?

Guests with horses can arrive from 2 pm to go for a ride in the woods.

You can check in to your holiday cottage from 4 pm.

How does check-out work for guests with horses?

On the day of departure, Alexandra will come to check you out of your holiday cottage at 10.00 am.

You can then go for a drive trough the woods, your stay end at 1.30 pm. If you do not take advantige of this, your stay will end at 11.00 am.

Can my horse go out in the Paddock?

Absolutely! Our six sand paddocks are bathed in the morning sun. When the sun is high in the sky in the afternoon, your horse can stand in the shade of tall trees.

Can my horse be stabled?

Absolutely! If yuo’d like a stable for your horse, please ask Alexandra about availability.

Can my horse go out in the Paddock Paradise?

Absolutely! It’s a lovely challenge to let your horse explore our Paddock Paradise… We take good care of our Paddock Paradise, after riding/showering, let your horse roll around in the paddock for a bit and eat some feed. That way, all guests with horses can enjoy the Paddock Paradise to the full throughout the season.

Can my horse go out in the pasture?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to put your horse out to pasture and fbring it back yourself. We take good care of our pasture, after riding/showering, let your horse roll around in the paddock for a bit and eat some feed. That way, all guests with horses can enjoy the pastures to the full throughout the season.

It's very hot, what now?

When high temperatures are forecast, above 30+, we’re happy to offer advice for both you and your horse.

👉 Paddock Paradise is mostly in the shade all day long 🐴.

👉 The paddocks are in the shade during the afternoon 🐴.

👉 You are welcome to have your horse stabled during the day and turned out in de pasture at knight 🐴.

👉 It’s lovely and cool in the woods 🏇.

Is it possible to cuddle the ponies?

You can be cuddle the ponies Navida & Floris at BoksheideBuiten with Alexandra’s help; She’s always happy to make time for this.

Are you allowed to feed the horses?

Guests staying with us who do not have their own pony or horse are not permitted to feed, ride or enter the stables, paddocks or meadows.

Can I bring a carriage?

At BoksheideBuiten, we regularly welcome carriage drivers. There’s plenty of space to safely store your carriage, coach and all your equipment on the grounds.

Where are the ponies at BoksheideBuiten?

Our ponies are kept outdoors 24/7/, 365 days a year!!

Whem guests arrive with their horses, Navida & Floris are always in the pasture/outdoor arena on the othet side of the fields neat our house. This is to keep things peaceful!!

Are pets allowed?

It is possible to bring your pet for a fee of € 17,50 per pet per night, per cottage maximum 2 pets. Your pet must be kept on a leash on the grounds. It goes without saying that you must ensure good hygiene on the grounds; you can dispose of excrement in the rubbish bins present on the premises. To be paid at check-in per Rabobank payment request.

For guests using Booking.com and AirBnB, these costs will be paid upon check-in by a Rabobank payment request, as these costs will not be collected by Booking.com and AirBnB upon booking.

You may bring a maximum of two pets, subject to a charge of € 17,50 per pet per knight. Your pet must be kept on a lead on the premises. It goes without saying that you must ensure good hygiene on the premises, you can dispose of waste in the bins provided on site.
