BoksheideBuiten, since 2013 Alexandra & Theo have realised their dream, meeting in Alexandra’s garden. Theo has a landscaping business and was born on Boksheide. Together they live on the other side of the meadows of BoksheideBuiten.

The purchased site consisted of a neglected plot with several old chicken and pig pens.

Through good cooperation with the municipality of Eersel, for whom this plot had been a pain point in the outlying area for years, we came to what BoksheideBuiten is today over a number of years.

From the first phase of development, it was important for us to create as much biodiversity as possible on our plot, working with as many nature inclusions as possible.

Every day we enjoy the guest and horse accommodation we have realised in a natural environment.

BuitengewoonStoer is how we have shaped our philosophy, to let you experience the outdoors. Theo does the landscape and meadow management and technical stuff. In his spare time he explores the unbeaten tracks at home and abroad on his off-road motorbike. He also enjoys drinking a glass of whiskey with a cigar if possible.

Alexandra was born in Rotterdam and moved to Brabant with her parents when she was young. Alexandra takes care of bookings, manages the various platforms and she welcomes her guests with open arms. Her hotel training combined with horse coach training allows her to give her guests a unique experience. Alexandra’s hobbies include horse riding, yoga and touring around on her Vespa. Prosecco is her favourite drink.

Together, they love to hit the road with their caravan and tour the holiday resorts on their scooters.
