BoksheideBuiten, since 2013 Alexandra & Theo have realised their dream, meeting in Alexandra’s garden. Theo has a landscaping business and was born on Boksheide. Together they live on the other side of the meadows of BoksheideBuiten.

The purchased site consisted of a neglected plot with several old chicken and pig pens.

Through good cooperation with the municipality of Eersel, for whom this plot had been a pain point in the outlying area for years, we came to what BoksheideBuiten is today over a number of years.

From the first phase of development, it was important for us to create as much biodiversity as possible on our plot, working with as many nature inclusions as possible.

Every day we enjoy the guest and horse accommodation we have realised in a natural environment.

Buiten

BuitengewoonStoer is how we have shaped our philosophy, to let you experience the outdoors. Theo does the landscape and meadow management and technical stuff. In his spare time he explores the unbeaten tracks at home and abroad on his off-road motorbike. He also enjoys drinking a glass of whiskey with a cigar if possible.

Alexandra was born in Rotterdam and moved to Brabant with her parents when she was young. Alexandra takes care of bookings, manages the various platforms and she welcomes her guests with open arms. Her hotel training combined with horse coach training allows her to give her guests a unique experience. Alexandra’s hobbies include horse riding, yoga and touring around on her Vespa. Prosecco is her favourite drink.

Together, they love to hit the road with their caravan and tour the holiday resorts on their scooters.

29-04 '24 The 5th time here and again thoroughly enjoyed Alexandra, you make it a new experience every time! Of course, the horse riding lesson with Navida, which Evy looks forward to so much, but also the hoof trimming and the course through the paddock paradise with a hobby horse, means we were not bored for a moment. Super nice that the Birdhouse gets a nice spot. Thanks for the good care and until next time!

Returning guests Poppy Cottage

Dear Alexandra, Theo and Vesta, due to delays in the renovation, our stay extended to 5 weeks! We couldn't have been in a better place. Atmospheric cottage with attention to detail. And nothing was missing at all! Even in winter, it was comfortable. Silke, our dog played nicely with Vesta and was also able to expend her energy. She added a friend. Thank you for the warm hospitality and see you soon.

Temporary stay

10-05 '24 Dear Alexandra, What a nice place to stay! We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the animals. The children loved it here. The horse riding lesson was a whole different experience, thanks for this! We will definitely come back again!

27-10 '25 Dear Alexandra, Even after seven weekends at BoksheideBuiten, you continue to amaze us with small gestures, delightful novelties, creative ideas, and your ever-welcoming and vibrant personality! We are already looking forward to our next visit and have booked an extra weekend! Our horses enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and their luxurious stay here, and our dogs also had a wonderful time enjoying the grounds and nature. It was fantastic once again in our “second home”!

10-11 '24 Dear Alexandra, for our annual family weekend this year we were allowed to stay at this wonderful location. What peace and quiet and with everything we needed. Animals, games and lots! lots of hobbyhorse riding. Not only the children, but also the grown-ups could be children again for a while. A big merci/thank you for making this time 'top'.
