Boksheide

BoksheideBuiten, since 2013 Alexandra & Theo have realised their dream, meeting in Alexandra’s garden. Theo has a landscaping business and was born on Boksheide. Together they live on the other side of the meadows of BoksheideBuiten.

The purchased site consisted of a neglected plot with several old chicken and pig pens.

Through good cooperation with the municipality of Eersel, for whom this plot had been a pain point in the outlying area for years, we came to what BoksheideBuiten is today over a number of years.

From the first phase of development, it was important for us to create as much biodiversity as possible on our plot, working with as many nature inclusions as possible.

Every day we enjoy the guest and horse accommodation we have realised in a natural environment.

Buiten

BuitengewoonStoer is how we have shaped our philosophy, to let you experience the outdoors. Theo does the landscape and meadow management and technical stuff. In his spare time he explores the unbeaten tracks at home and abroad on his off-road motorbike. He also enjoys drinking a glass of whiskey with a cigar if possible.

Alexandra was born in Rotterdam and moved to Brabant with her parents when she was young. Alexandra takes care of bookings, manages the various platforms and she welcomes her guests with open arms. Her hotel training combined with horse coach training allows her to give her guests a unique experience. Alexandra’s hobbies include horse riding, yoga and touring around on her Vespa. Prosecco is her favourite drink.

Together, they love to hit the road with their caravan and tour the holiday resorts on their scooters.

Long weekend enjoyed here. We 3 woman and the horses. All six of us were in Zenn mode in no time! The surroundings, The place, hospitality, cosy dogs, beautiful stable, green grassy meadows.... the atmosphere, and the nice Sun that shone for us. In short, it was absolutely great! Kind regards,

11-08Had another lovely stay at Boksheide with our group. Both this and last year, we enjoyed the Abunaii convention and were able to unwind and reminisce wonderfully in our well-known ranch. Thanks also to Alexandra for a pleasant welcome and hospitality. We will be back next year for our event 🙂

Barn Cottage

03-11 Super nice and cosy cottage and we had a nice cuddle with Floris and Navida ( the horses). And the stick horses are also super fun to play with. Coralie (13) Amie (16) and Lisanne (5) We had nice days and we found host Alexandra very cosy.

Dear Alexandra, Thank you for the warm welcome, you immediately notice that you run BoksheideBuiten with a lot of love. We had a very nice stay, everything was thought of! And Bas loved riding along on your tractor, feeding the chickens and going to watch your horses. Thank you for this! We wish you continued success with this top stay.

14-07 Dear Alexandra, super thanks for the hospitality. We enjoyed it immensely it was a weekend full of hiking and fun cycling. We were able to fully enjoy the beautiful nature in this beautiful area. Together with our horses, it was really a top experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

01-05 Dear Alexandra, It was a very cool weekend. The dog is nice and wild. The horses are beautiful. The chickens have tasty eggs. The birds are singing the most beautiful song. And Alexandra is a lovely hostess. Everything for a child-friendly place. Thank you and see you soon!
