Dear Alexandra, Theo and Vesta, due to delays in the renovation, our stay extended to 5 weeks! We couldn't have been in a better place. Atmospheric cottage with attention to detail. And nothing was missing at all! Even in winter, it was comfortable. Silke, our dog played nicely with Vesta and was also able to expend her energy. She added a friend. 14-07 '24 Alexandra, we enjoyed this lovely cottage immensely. The tranquility and hospitality felt like a warm blanket. A few minutes' drive from Ter Spegelt holiday park where a large group of our friends were staying. There we partied hard and were able to unwind again in this gorgeous house with lovely beds. 30-12 '25 We were able to completely unwind in the cottage overlooking the beautiful grounds, which are designed for horses and outdoor living, creating a lovely atmosphere, even if you're not into horses. Alexandra took ample time to show us around the grounds and introduce us to the horses. It's very inspiring how she has built all this up with het husband. In terms of the surroundings, we enjoyed the Cartierheide, which ww could easliy cycle to. We also enjoyed the mountain bike track that runs very close to the cottage.<br>We were warmly welcomed by Alexandra and were able to completely unwind at Poppy Cottage. It is beautifully decorated with natural materials and vintage elements, all of hihg quality. The cottage is very comfortable and fully equipped. Even with a baby in winter, it was nice and warm in the cottage. Alexandra was very helpful when we needed things like extra coffee capsules. For breakfast, we ordered the Pampering basket with yoghurt delicacies and croissants. We cooked dinner twice in the cottage because it was so peaceful and all the necessary equipment was available. On our last evening, we visited het wilde zwijn restaurant, which has a surprisingly fairytale-like inn atmosphere and serves delicious dishes.

03-11' 24 Super nice and cosy cottage and we had a nice cuddle with Floris and Navida ( the horses). And the stick horses are also super fun to play with. Coralie (13) Amie (16) and Lisanne (5) We had nice days and we found host Alexandra very cosy.
