During your stay at BoksheideBuiten, your horse can enjoy 1 of the 4 meadows or our Paddock Paradise of approx. 3000 m2, alternating narrow and wider paths, a hill and a wadi, various feeding places for hay, a puzzle place where your horse can search for concentrate, a mineral rock with licking stones in between, a mineral bar with fresh drinking water supplemented with Icelandic seaweed, diatomaceous earth, mother earth and Celtic sea salt, fresh drinking water on all meadows and sand paddocks. In an old pit ring no less than 165 cm in diameter, there is something for the horses to feast on.
Our Paddock Paradise is a horse garden with a natural habitat for horses, together with other friends such as rabbits, partridges, nuthatches, red and green woodpeckers, wood pigeons, blackbirds and more small birds.
On our plot, we are dying to maximise biodiversity and work as nature-inclusively as possible.
It only becomes truly heavenly when combined with the planted shade trees and thickets of edible hedges and candy canes. These woody plants accentuate sight lines and create resting places. Also, two robust palisade walls of native oak tree trunks offer protection from the cold wind and the possibility of sanding.
